Steel Buildings Wyoming, WY
Wyoming gets wind that closes interstates, and a building that is not anchored for it is a building you replace. Add mountain snow load, seven thousand feet of elevation in places, and long distances between towns, and the specification writes itself: certified, anchored properly, and quoted with the freight in it. Delivery and installation are included in the price.

Cattle, hay and equipment. Wyoming shuts them in steel. Galvanized steel, delivered and installed across Wyoming. Wind that closes the interstate. Wyoming steel gets anchored.
What Wyoming buys.
A spread across the building types Wyoming leads with. Delivery and installation are included, and the specification shifts with what your county requires.

Wind everywhere, snow where it is high
Wyoming's constant is wind. What changes across the state is the elevation stacked on top of it, and that is what decides the roof.
The southeast and the I-80 corridor
High, open and relentlessly windy — Laramie sits above seven thousand feet. Anchoring is the line on the order that matters most here, and drifting snow is a wind problem before it is a roof one.
The basin and the northeast
Ranch, energy and hay country. Clear-span equipment buildings and enclosed shops, sized for machinery and for working through a long winter rather than for a car.
The mountains and Jackson Hole
The heaviest snow figures in the state by a distance, and the strictest review with them. Snow load decides gauge, roof style and anchoring together, and certification is the whole conversation up here.
What moves a Wyoming price
Four things, and two of them are consequences of Wyoming being large, high and empty.
Anchoring, for the wind
This is the most important line on a Wyoming order. Whether the building is bolted to a slab, an existing pad or the ground changes the engineering and the price, and in this state it is what determines whether the building stays put.
How far you are from the manufacturer
We work with manufacturers across the country and quote from whichever one serves your area. Wyoming is enormous and thinly populated, so freight is a genuine line on the order — a Jackson address and a Gillette address are not the same haul.
Snow load, if you are up high
The mountain counties carry the heaviest figures in the state, and Teton is the strictest. A certified building engineered to one of those is materially heavier than the same footprint out on the plains.
The pad is not ours
We do not do groundwork or foundations. Frost depth at this elevation is serious, and in wind country the anchoring depends entirely on what the building sits on — price the pad locally first.
Built for stock, equipment and winter
Barns and shop buildings lead Wyoming's ranking. Six types, in the order they come up here — start from the job, then we will talk about anchoring.
Still looking for the right building? Tell us the job.
Most people know what has to go inside long before they know which building that is. Tell us what it has to do, and we'll match it — from an open carport to a fully enclosed commercial span.
Permits across 23 counties
Wyoming has the shortest county list of any plains state, and the requirements swing hard between the ranch counties and Teton. Look yours up below.
- 01
Inside city limits
Cheyenne, Casper, Laramie, Gillette, Sheridan and Jackson each run their own permitting. Jackson and Teton County run the most demanding review in the state, and the snow figure is central to it.
- 02
Unincorporated county land
Many Wyoming counties ask for very little. That does not make the wind figure optional — a building that is not anchored for high-plains wind will not last, whether or not anyone inspects it.
Either way, what we hand you
Engineer-stamped drawings for any jurisdiction that requires them. Confirm the figures yours enforces, tell us what they are, and we certify the building to them with the cost of certification quoted up front.
Find the county you're building in.
Search a city or a county and we'll tell you which one you're in and who issues the permit there. No form, no email.

Where we deliver in Wyoming.
This is the list we publish, not a boundary. A town on it is certainly covered; a town missing from it is a question rather than a no. Search for yours below, and if it is not here, one call settles it before you spend anything.
Wyoming, specifically.
The five or six things people ask before they order, answered for this state rather than in general.
