Coast to Coast Carports

Four plants, so your building starts near you.

Coast to Coast builds in four states, and that is most of the reason we order from them as often as we do. Freight on a steel building is not a rounding error, and the plant that fabricates yours is the single biggest thing deciding it.

What we source here

The parts of our own range that come from this manufacturer. Each one links to its sizes and prices.

The company

About Coast to Coast.

The company started in Arkansas in 2001 and still builds there. What changed since is the map: plants followed in Texas, Idaho and Oregon, which turned a regional manufacturer into one we can order from across most of the western half of the country.

The catalog is the wide one. Carports and RV covers at the small end, clear-span commercial buildings and warehouses at the other, with garages, barns and workshops in between. If you are pricing something big enough that a column in the middle of the floor would ruin it, this is usually where the quote comes from.

We are a dealer, not a plant. In practice that means your dimensions, your site and your county go to them, and the building is fabricated to that order rather than pulled off a shelf. It also means the specification conversation happens before any steel is cut.

4 plants

Where yours gets built.

Which plant builds yours follows from where it is going, not from which one we would prefer.

Arkansas

The original plant, and the one that reaches the mid-South and the lower Mississippi valley.

Texas

Covers Texas itself, Oklahoma and most of New Mexico — some of the longest hauls in the country if the steel started anywhere else.

Idaho

The Intermountain West. A building headed for Montana, Wyoming or Utah has a shorter road from here than from anywhere else on this list.

Oregon

The Pacific Northwest, and the reason a Washington or Oregon order never has to cross the Rockies.

Why them

What we order here, and why.

Clear-span, where the width is the whole point

Warehouses and commercial buildings with no center column. This is the manufacturer we quote most often when the floor has to stay open end to end.

RV covers tall enough for the RV

Height is the specification people get wrong on an RV cover. The vertical-roof covers here run to the sizes that actually clear a fifth-wheel with an air conditioner on the roof.

Every roof style from one catalog

Regular, A-frame horizontal and A-frame vertical across the same range, so the choice comes down to your weather and your budget rather than to what happens to be available.
