We specify the building before we price it.
Steel Carports is a metal building dealer in Amarillo, Texas. Our building experts work out what the job requires, what your site allows and what you want to spend, then put that specification in front of the manufacturer best suited to build it. You get one number, and you know what's behind it.

What we handle, and what we stand behind.
We're a dealer, so our work starts well before there's anything to build. A building expert takes what you need, what your site will allow and what you want to spend, and turns the three into a specification: the size, the roof style, the gauge, the certification, the doors and the color.
Then we place that specification. We work with manufacturers across the United States instead of a single plant, so we can send your building to the one that builds it best and can reach you for the least. Your location is one of the factors our pricing disclaimer names as moving a quote, and freight on something that ships by the flatbed is real money — so choosing the right plant is worth something to you, not just to us.
From there we handle the order, the delivery and the installation, and we stay responsible for the building after it's up. Our 12-gauge buildings carry a 20-year rust-through warranty. If something isn't right, you call us — not a plant three states away that has never heard your name.
Metal carports, garages, barns and steel buildings.
The range runs from a 12-foot carport to a 100-by-250-foot commercial building, and every one is built to your dimensions rather than pulled off a lot. Which one you need comes down to what has to fit inside, and whether it has to lock.
How a quote actually happens.
Four steps, and the order is the point: you hear the trade-offs before you hear the number.
Tell us the job
What's going inside, where it's going, and what the ground is like. Requirements first, then limits, then budget. A budget on its own doesn't tell us much.
We work the network
We match your building to a manufacturer that suits the spec and your location. How far you sit from that plant is one of the things that moves the price, so it's a real decision, not paperwork.
Trade-offs, then the number
Roof style, gauge and certification, plus insulation and any doors and windows — what each one buys you and what each one costs. The quote comes after that, so you're comparing apples to apples instead of two numbers with different things inside them.
Delivered and installed
Both are in the price, in the states we cover. Your part is a flat, cleared, level site, plus the slab if the building needs one.
40 states, door to door.
Delivery and installation are included in every one of them. If your state isn't on this list, you'll hear that on the first call rather than after you've spent an afternoon on a quote.
