Steel Buildings Georgia, GA
Georgia has 159 counties, more than any state except Texas, so the answer to "what do I need" genuinely does start with where you are. It also has a container port pulling distribution buildings inland, poultry and row-crop country through the middle, and mountains in the north that see real winter. Delivery and installation are included in the price.
Trucks, boats and tractors. Georgia parks them under steel. Galvanized steel, delivered and installed across Georgia. Coastal damp, Blue Ridge cold. Georgia steel handles both.
What Georgia buys.
A spread across the building types Georgia leads with. Delivery and installation are included, and the specification shifts with what your county requires.

What Georgia builds, from the coast inland
Open covers lead, farm buildings follow, and commercial work is closer behind here than in most southern states — Savannah's freight pulls distribution and warehouse buildings a long way inland. Start with the job.
Still looking for the right building? Tell us the job.
Most people know what has to go inside long before they know which building that is. Tell us what it has to do, and we'll match it — from an open carport to a fully enclosed commercial span.
Three Georgias, and the mountains are real
People think of Georgia as one warm state. The north counties get winter weather that changes a roof specification, and the coast has a corrosion problem the middle of the state does not.
North Georgia and the Blue Ridge
Cold enough for a snow and ice load most winters, and hilly enough that leveling the site is a real cost. This is the part of the state where certification is answering a snow figure rather than only a wind one.
The Piedmont and middle Georgia
Heat, humidity and the spring storm season, over the busiest half of our Georgia delivery map. Suburban Atlanta orders are usually enclosed and setback-constrained; further out, equipment and hay storage take over.
The coastal plain
Salt air near the water, high humidity everywhere, and hurricane-season wind on the coast itself. Galvanized framing is the reason a building here lasts, and the coastal cities will want the engineering to prove the wind case.
What moves a Georgia number
With 159 counties the jurisdiction is a bigger variable here than in most states. These four, in the order they matter.
Which of the 159 you are in
Certification requirements are not uniform across Georgia, and the difference between a mountain county's snow figure and a coastal county's wind figure is a genuinely different building. It is the first thing we ask and the last thing you should guess at.
Open, or closed in
Georgia buys a lot of open covers because most of the year does not need walls. Where walls earn their money is security and dry storage — a lockable building for tools and equipment, rather than warmth.
Roof style
Regular, A-frame horizontal, then vertical, in ascending order of cost. Vertical is the one designed for inclement weather; on the coast and in the north it is the upgrade that pays for itself.
The slab is not ours
We do not do groundwork or foundations. Red clay holds water and north Georgia sites need cutting level, so price the pad locally before you order rather than after the crew is booked.
Permits across 159 counties
Nowhere except Texas has more county offices to deal with, which is exactly why this section exists and why the lookup below is the fastest way through it.
- 01
Inside city limits
Atlanta, Augusta, Columbus, Macon, Savannah, Athens and the metro cities each run their own permitting. In the Atlanta suburbs, setbacks and lot coverage bind more orders than the structural requirements do.
- 02
Unincorporated county land
One of 159 county offices, and they are not consistent with each other. Coastal counties care about wind and flood; mountain counties care about snow load and site grade. Ask which applies before you order.
Either way, what we hand you
Engineer-stamped drawings for any jurisdiction that requires them. Confirm what your county or city asks for, tell us what it is, and we certify the building to it with the cost of certification shown up front.
Find the county you're building in.
Search a city or a county and we'll tell you which one you're in and who issues the permit there. No form, no email.

Where we deliver in Georgia.
This is the list we publish, not a boundary. A town on it is certainly covered; a town missing from it is a question rather than a no. Search for yours below, and if it is not here, one call settles it before you spend anything.
Georgia, specifically.
The five or six things people ask before they order, answered for this state rather than in general.
