Steel Buildings Mississippi, MS
Mississippi is warm, wet and hard on anything that rots. Almost nothing here needs a building closed up against cold, so the range starts with open covers and adds walls where security or dry storage asks for them. What the specification does answer to is coastal wind and your county's figures. Delivery and installation are included in the price.
Tractors, boats and pickups. Mississippi covers them in steel. Galvanized steel, delivered and installed across Mississippi. Coast wind, Delta damp. Mississippi steel takes both.

Open first, walls where they earn it
Mississippi's ranking starts with covers because most of the year does not call for an enclosure. Where walls pay off is security and dry storage — start from the job the building has to do.
Still looking for the right building? Tell us the job.
Most people know what has to go inside long before they know which building that is. Tell us what it has to do, and we'll match it — from an open carport to a fully enclosed commercial span.
Coast, Delta and the Memphis line
Mississippi is 340 miles top to bottom and the three ends of it are genuinely different orders — one is engineered for wind, one for water, one for a suburban lot.
The Gulf Coast
Salt air and storm season. This is where certification does the real work: the wind figure your county enforces decides the gauge and the anchoring, and how the building is tied down matters as much as what it is made of.
The Delta and central Mississippi
Flat, farmed and wet — cotton, soybeans and catfish ponds. Water has nowhere to run, so where you set the building and how the pad drains matter more here than the frame does, and floodplain review is a real step.
North Mississippi
The Memphis suburbs, effectively — the busiest and most suburban part of our Mississippi map. Enclosed garages and workshops on platted lots, where setbacks and covenants bind before the structure does.
What moves a Mississippi price
Four decisions, and on the coast the first two are worth more attention than the rest.
Certification, and how close to the coast
A certified building is engineered to the wind figures your county enforces, and those are materially higher on the coast than up by Memphis. The same footprint is a different building in Gulfport than in Southaven.
Anchoring
In a storm state, what the building is bolted to is not a detail. A slab, an existing pad or the ground each change the engineering and the price, and it is the first thing a reviewer looks at.
Open, or closed in
Mississippi buys a lot of open covers because the weather allows it. Walls buy security and dry storage rather than warmth, which is the honest way to decide whether they are worth it for your job.
The pad is not ours
We do not pour concrete or do foundation work. On Delta ground, drainage is the part that matters most — price the pad locally before the building is scheduled.
Permits across 82 counties
Rural Mississippi is lightly regulated; the coast and the northern suburbs are not. Find your county below and the rest is two questions.
- 01
Inside city limits
Jackson, Gulfport, Biloxi, Hattiesburg, Southaven and Tupelo each run their own permitting. On the coast expect wind requirements to be part of it; in the north expect setbacks to be looked at closely.
- 02
Unincorporated county land
Varies widely between the 82. In the Delta, floodplain rules apply whether or not a building permit does, and that is the requirement that most often changes where a building can sit.
Either way, what we hand you
Engineer-stamped drawings for any jurisdiction that requires them. Confirm what your county asks for, tell us what it is, and we certify the building to it with the cost of certification shown up front.
Find the county you're building in.
Search a city or a county and we'll tell you which one you're in and who issues the permit there. No form, no email.

Where we deliver in Mississippi.
This is the list we publish, not a boundary. A town on it is certainly covered; a town missing from it is a question rather than a no. Search for yours below, and if it is not here, one call settles it before you spend anything.
Mississippi, specifically.
