RV Covers & Garages

Park the RV under steel — before the sun does the damage.

An RV is a rolling investment, and nothing ages one faster than sitting uncovered: UV bakes the roof membrane brittle, seals crack, decals fade, and one hailstorm can cost more than the cover would have. A steel RV shelter stops all of it for a fraction of indoor storage fees you'd pay year after year.

These are built tall and long on purpose — 12 to 14+ feet of clearance for a Class A or fifth-wheel, and lengths that swallow the whole rig plus the hitch. Do the math against covered storage: a lot charges you every month forever, while a cover on your own land is paid off in a couple of seasons and then it's free — with the rig ten steps from the door instead of across town.

The RV lineup

RV shelters, sized to your rig.

From an open triple-height cover to a fully enclosed RV garage — every model scales in width, length, and leg height to clear your specific coach.

Tell us your RV's dimensions.

Clearance is everything with an RV, so these start as a guide — give us your rig's height and length and we'll spec a cover that clears it with room to spare, or step you up to a fully enclosed RV garage.

Why cover an RV?

The cheapest insurance your camper will ever get.

A season of sun and weather does real, expensive damage to an uncovered RV. Here's what a steel cover protects — and what buyers use theirs for.

01
The fastest shade you can put up

An open cover is the quickest, lowest-cost way to get your rig out of the sun — a tall roof on posts, no walls to frame, up in a single visit.

02
Air moves, moisture doesn't sit

Open sides let the breeze run right through, so the coach dries out after rain and you skip the trapped, musty air a closed-up rig can hold onto.

03
Stops the UV that ages a roof

Shade keeps the rubber roof membrane and sidewall seals from baking brittle — the failure that leads to leaks and five-figure repairs.

04
Hail & sun off the top

The steel roof takes the hailstones and the afternoon glare so the coach underneath stays cooler and unmarked, for a fraction of enclosed cost.

05
Cheaper than the storage lot

Covered RV storage charges every single month, forever. A cover on your own land pays for itself in a couple of seasons and the rig sits ten steps from the door.

06
Pull straight in, walk right out

Open sides mean no tight door to line up on — back in, run the awning, load the bays, and hook up water and power with room on every side.

Clearance & length

How tall and how long does an RV cover need to be?

With an RV, the two numbers that matter most are height and length — get these right and everything else follows. Measure your rig, then size up.

01

Measure total height

Include roof-mounted AC units, antennas, and vents — not just the spec sheet. Then add a foot of clearance for peace of mind.

02

Class A / fifth-wheel

Most need 13–14+ ft of leg height. Go taller if you'll ever pull in with the satellite dish up.

03

Travel trailers & Class C

Usually clear at 11–12 ft, but measure the AC shroud — it's almost always the tallest point.

04

Length for the whole rig

Add several feet beyond your RV's length so the hitch, ladder, and spare are all under the roof, not sticking out.

05

Width for slide-outs

If you'll run slide-outs or the awning under cover, size the width to clear them fully extended.

06

Open, one wall, or enclosed

A single back wall blocks the worst driving rain; full walls plus a tall door make it a secure RV garage.

Sizes & prices

How big is an RV cover?

RV covers are defined by height and length more than width — you need to clear the tallest point of the coach and shelter the full length of the rig, hitch included. Widths typically run 12–20+ ft depending on whether you want walk-around room.

Leg heights run from about 11 ft for a travel trailer up past 14 ft for a tall Class A. Search or scroll the heights and lengths below — hover any size to see what rig it clears, its SKU, and its price.

When in doubt, size up — clearance you don't use costs a few dollars a month; clearance you're short is a scraped roof.

We are building a barndominium and they delivered the shell on schedule. Our contractor said the framing was straighter than most stick-built shells he sees.
